Feedback of RUS 104

After the finished of project 8, RUS 104 finally come to an end. I still remembered the first class , learn the architectural writing with admitting our handwriting is sucks><then sketching .......we then start our project work . Start to sleep less, or in other words sleep in the early morning . Walk back from HBP studio to Saujana. Its a long long way~~~. Although its tough in sometime but there is also enjoying time for me when doing the project work together with group mates at the studio . Its a new experience for me.In the mean time i also sharpen my water colouring skill since the project needed. Besides that the creativity is an important thing to start the project. 1 semester is very short and precious time even shorter. The time we stay up together, do the project together, i wont forget in my life. And lastly i also want to use this chance to thank to our lecturers. Thank you in teaching us and help us in finishing our project .

Continue from project 6 , we started to do our model in the scale of 1:5. We used balsa wood , plywood, and others to do the model. We started from the base then the stairs and lastly was the roof. and with all the cooperate of group mate we had done it well. And thanks to our Dr. Cheah that help us in this project.

Project 6

Project 6 is about the mini amphitheater.Our group is group 9 Finger Art Consultant. This project was a group work , at first we need to do analysis of the site. For example the ventilation, the sun goes, the site length and much more. Then the design team start to do for the amphitheater design. Our design concept was base on finger tutting.   

              My life here in USM

After this few months study in USM i have realised that every thing in our life that we want is not that easy to get it. We need to strive for it, put a lot  effort on it. Sometimes it may not be as good as we expected however if I not even try out for once then I am the looser for the whole time. Before i come to this school and take Interior Design as my course, I didn't think of that lot yet now it is different.My future is in my hand , the things that i need to do now is to do what i can do and do what upon my limit. I won't know i can do it well or not but one thing i know is I CAN DO IT.     

Project 5

The site that i had chosen for this project is Sunway Bukit Gambier. the site is just near the RST Hostel. In this project we need to do the analysis about the site such as the houses, pathway, and much more.We also need to suggest some improvement for the site. The facilities in Sunway Bukit Gambier is all in well condition except for the playground and the safety in the housing area.

This is the chair that done by me and my group mates. Our chair is named Wa 'O' Vy .It is because the chair is mostly in wavy shape and the table in the middle is represent the 'O'. Therefore we named it Wa 'O' Vy. Our design is based on the theme of unity and we defined it to the others  concept which is communication, warmth and safe. We hope that the chair can bring out this 3 elements that to all of the users .

Axonometric and perspective

After doing for the model , we came into the next stage which to draw out the plan, elevation, axonometric, and also perspective of the chair.  the dimension is an important things in drawing the plan all. If anything wrong it will affect the whole things. Therefore i had done many times of measurement to sure that it is correct and than convert it to the particular scale that stated in the direction. 

Project 3

The sculpture that i had made was actually a tree. In my opinion tree is a symbol of harmony. I made it by using the wire with different sizes to show its texture. It do not look like a actual tree because i had modified it to a cuter style.The fruit is given the meaning that joy and happiness will always be at there.

Project 2b

This is the man-made structure that i drew. It is a lady who wait at the bus stand.In the actual photo the bus stand is full of advertisement  but i didn't draw in it but focus on the bus stand itself and a human figure. the angle is quite difficult to catch i spend more time in switching the bus stand dimension.
